Porcelain Insulator

These porcelain insulators are used to protect the kiln element wires from making contact with the metal jacket of the kiln. They are important because they reduce overheating and other potential issues with the elements.

Length of smaller diameter - 0.87"

This replacement insulator is handy if you have lost your own. Otherwise they have an extremely long lifespan and should last the duration of your kiln.
