For the most part, these knobs are intended as replacement parts for manual kilns that require turning up. The biggest differences in knob type are those between ‘three-step’, or low-medium-high knobs, which snap into position as you turn them, and ‘stepless’ knobs, which turn your kiln’s switch in a smooth motion.
