Currently available in two different levels of flexibility - soft (orange) and firm (blue) - these silicone ribs come in eight different shapes to meet a variety of clay-shaping needs. All ribs are a substantial ¼" thick and feature a perforated center grip.
The Xiem Silicone Rib, size 6, Orange, is the brand's soft silicone rib. Measuring 5" wide by 2" tall, this medium curved rib is great for shaping a wide variety of wheelthrown forms, but is particularly well-suited for wide bowls and vessels with nicely-curved walls. This tool can also be used for handbuilding projects.
