Currently available in two different levels of flexibility - soft (orange) and firm (blue) - these silicone ribs come in eight different shapes to meet a variety of clay-shaping needs. All ribs are a substantial ¼" thick and feature a perforated center grip.
The Xiem Silicone Rib, size 5, Blue, is the brand's firm silicone rib. Measuring 4.25" wide by 2.25" tall, this medium triangular rib is great for shaping a wide variety of wheelthrown forms such as mugs and bowls. This tool can also be used for handbuilding projects.
