KilnStar Kiln Control Boards come equipped with a port for this current sensor. By adding this sensor, you wil be able to use the diagnostics feature on your board. So why would you need to get one of these? Well, if you need help troubleshooting your kiln or you're frustrated when your kiln errors out, the sensor will allow you to see the amps being generated on each ring of your kiln. All Skutt kilns come standard with this handy part, but all KilnStar boards are capable of using it.
