The Potter's Choice glazes are designed to replicate custom high fire reduction glazes in a midrange oxidation kiln firing. Amaco's Lustrous Jade is an artistic heavy float glaze and can yield beautiful bursts of light green floating above the opaque green and caramel. The Lustrous Jade looks best when applied thick (three thick coats) and has room near the foot to move and pool. Try this glaze over textured clay to really maximize your results.
