Honey Flux is a creamy color that increases flow when layered over glazes. Opaque honey and cream at Cone 5 that shifts to a beautiful fluid white with honey flecks at Cone 6.? Due to variations in raw materials used during manufacturing, we recommend firing glazed test tiles before using each new batch number of glaze.

The Potter's Choice glaze series was designed with the potter in mind! These stunning glazes add fluid colors and effects to smooth or textured ware, with optimal results at Cone 5/6. To use these glazes is to step into different ceramic glaze traditions of many cultures throughout history. Check out PC Layering charts to see all the amazing results you can try in your own studio! If the application of this glaze is too thin, the surface will look splotchy and incomplete. For best results apply three thick coats and leave a little room at the foot for the glaze to move. Due to the powdered nature of the materials involved with the dry-mix dipping buckets of this product, their respective health information and labels differ from the brushing glazes.

Cone 5 = 1184°C (at 150°C/hour for the final 100°C of firing) / 2201°F ( at 270°F/hour in the final 200°F of firing)

Cone 6 = 1241°C (at 150°C/hour for the final 100°C of firing) / 2266°F ( at 270°F/hour in the final 200°F of firing)
