This item is a replacement thermocouple intended for use with the Skutt KM-1 wall mounted controller.
The Type-K thermocouple is housed in a metal sheath and comes with a plug attached to one end that connects to a thermocouple cable that will easily bridge the longer distance between the kiln and your wall-mounted KM-1 controller.
