This flexible, stainless steel Paisley Scraper from Mudtools is ideal for detail work. Scraper measures 3 1/4" long by 2 5/8" high.
The Paisley Scraper proves itself indispensable for sculpting, shaping, and refining leather-hard clay. The tight inside radius of this tool is good for working around joints (such as the inside of a teapot spout.) The Paisley Scraper Rib is available in three different edges:
MSSP - Smooth
MSSPS24 - Extra-Fine edge (24 teeth per inch)
MSSPS - Fine edge (18 teeth per inch)
We like to use the teeth on the Paisley Scraper to remove and shape clay prior to smoothing and polishing up with a Polymer Rib.
