Pottery Bat System for Aspire

Blue Bucket Tools developed their Aspire Bat System for those who use and love their Shimpo Aspire wheel. The motherboard base is made from the exact same solid ABS material as the inserts, giving a super-deluxe, totally flush, nearly seamless feel on the wheel. They rounded the inserts for increased durability and comfort in use. Each insert is cut, routed, sanded, and inspected for perfect fit.

Each Kit Includes:

Motherboard
The Motherboard surrounds the inserts and holds them firmly in place. In the case of the Bat System for Aspire, the motherboard also extends past the edge of the wheel head to fill the splash pan area, which helps the water land where it is supposed to.

Batlock Bat Pins
Our new 3-part Batlock Bat Pins are unique and allow you to very firmly secure the motherboard to the wheel head. simply finger tighten them, push the motherboard down to the wheel head, and tighten the pins using the included 3mm Hex Key. as you tighten, the rabbet part squishes outward, making a securer bond between the wheel and the motherboard.

"The Tortilla" Mini Shammy for Aspire
In order to get the very best experience of any bat system for Aspire wheels, we designed and produced a smaller version of our Shammy, made just for aspire wheels. this substrate, made from vegan, synthetic chamois material, is used wet and suctions the inserts down to the wheel head, making a very secure and satisfying experience.

8 Inserts
The base price includes 8 inserts, specially designed to fit the motherboard with just enough space to install and remove them with ease. Unlike our full-sized wheel system that uses tiles, this system uses inserts made from the exact same ABS plastic as the surround for a super luxe feel, and a perfectly flush surface. If you want more, you can add them to the order at $5 each per insert, in multiples of four.

Slim Pry Tool
Unlike most bat systems, we include an ideal tool for easy removal of the inserts. This is a slimmed down version of our regular pry tool. Both work equally well, but we love our new, more compact version and think it is a perfect pairing with this smaller system. The tool is made from stainless steel and PETG plastic handle.


How To Use
Turn the pottery wheel off before taking the Blue Bucket Tools Bat System Motherboard on or off the wheel head to avoid possible injury.

Improper usage of the Blue Bucket Tools Bat System may result in injury. Always exercise caution while using a Blue Bucket Tools Bat System to avoid causing injury to yourself or others.

Gently thread the Batlock Bat pin into each bat pin hole. Leave loose.
2. Wet the shammy then place it on the wheel head.
3. Place the motherboard on the bat pins.
4. Press the motherboard down, making sure it is completely flat against the shammy and wheel head.
5. Using the included hex key, tighten the bat pins down, at least until flush with the top of the motherboard. The more you tighten, the firmer the connection will be. Avoid over-tightening as it may damage the washer or cause wear on the o-ring.
6. When done throwing, loosen the hex key in order to remove the motherboard for cleaning.
