The Dragonfly is equipped with the original BuschKraft Delta-shaped tungsten carbide trimming blade, designed for durability and precision. Each blade is expertly sharpened to provide an exceptional cut right out of the box. Tungsten carbide is an extremely hard material that maintains its edge through extensive trimming, even on tough, heavily grogged clay.
The Delta profile is an innovative BuschKraft design, featuring a triangular shape with three distinct radii that adapt to almost any curve. Its size is optimal for bulk material removal without feeling cumbersome. The two upper corners enhance its versatility, allowing for finer detail work and smooth transitions.
Although this blade is built to last, it will eventually wear out and can be resharpened using a diamond file or rotary bit. To reset the cutting edge, grind or sand the inside face of the blade. Keep in mind that tungsten carbide can be brittle; if dropped, the blade may break, so handle it with care and store the tool safely.
