If you are new to glass annealing, Evenheat’s Copper kiln is a great way to introduce glass capabilities -- and more! -- to your studio. This tiny kiln is available in either 120-volt, which can be plugged into a typical household outlet, or 240-volt, for someone with a more powerful electrical setup. The Copper can carry out all manners of firing up to 2200F (just over cone 5) - from ceramics to metal clays (PMC) to china and porcelain painting, the multi-use Copper kiln allows you to experiment in your studio at a price that won’t break the bank. The compact Copper fits comfortably on a tabletop, but it does come with a stand included so you can set it up just about anywhere.
Options for customization:
The Copper is available with a few different options for customization, so you can build this kiln to fit your needs. First, select the ideal
voltage for your space - this kiln is available in 120-volt or in 240-volt. Next, you may opt to order your Copper with one of four
kiln controllers. You can opt for the manually-operated Infinite Switch; the Icon; the Rampmaster III; the Icon+; or the TAP II controller. Finally, you may want to order the Studio Pro with the suggested
furniture kit, which includes two 7.25” square shelves, one 3-reed haik brush, and 24 oz. of glass separator. Please select your preferences from the drop-down menus above.
