The HF 1413 is our 3" brick version of the RM 1413 and is capable of reaching cone 10 and fits easily into any studio. The HF 1413 features our TAP II, Icon+, Icon and Rampmaster II controls and is standard equipped with our exclusive Swing View Adjustable Viewing which you will absolutely enjoy.
Features:
Top Load
The HF 1413 is a top loading design and offers a chamber 14.5" diameter x 13.5" deep. The HF 1413 is built with 3" firebrick allowing it to reach temperature easier.
Wonderful Lid Handle
We love handles. Handles have to be properly sized and shaped for the job. Our lid handles make this point by offering an 8" handle that's easy to grasp and operate. These wide, corner mounted handle allows for confident and easy lifting, even with a gloved hand. It's unlike any other and it's a joy to use.
2 Position Lid Vent
The HF 1413 is equipped with a 2 position lid vent. Perfect for speeding up the cooling process.
Swing View Equipped
The HF 1413 temperature controls are fitted to our Swing View Adjustable Enclosure. The swing view is a pivoting, swing-up enclosure that allows you to rotate the control to a comfortable viewing and programming angle. Once you're done, lay it back down to see it from across your studio. It's that simple. The swing view pairs well with touchscreen controls like the TAP II, Icon+ and Icon as viewing angle can be perfectly aligned. You'll love it.
3" Firebrick with No Loss in Chamber Volume
Historically kiln designs were based on 2-1/2" firebrick. As 3" firebrick began to show favor in high temperature designs many kiln manufacturers simply reduced the firing chamber size to accommodate the thicker firebrick while leaving the outside dimensions the same. At Evenheat we took a different direction. Instead of making the chamber smaller we kept it the same while increasing the outside dimensions. In this way there is no loss in chamber volume and common, standard kiln furniture would continue to fit. Nice.
Swing-Away Peephole Covers
Our kiln designs feature swing-away peephole covers as opposed to plugs. Plugs get lost and they get broken. Our attached peephole covers remain on the kiln and simply swing open and closed. You won't lose them and they certainly won't break.
Lid Prop
The HF 1413 is provided with a lid prop bar that positively keeps the lid in the open position. Simple operation is made even easier with our well designed lid handle.
Relay Access Port
The HF 1413 incorporates our Relay Access Port for simple, no-panel-off relay replacement. Simply remove the access plate to gain access to the mechanical relays. There's no need to remove the control panel and dig into the internal wiring. It's absolutely simple and effective and all it takes is a screwdriver! It's a given that mechanical relays will fail at some point. This relay access port really comes in handy when they do.
Full Stainless Steel Jackets
Multi-section, multi-jacketed kilns were conceived to lower production costs for the kiln manufacturer and to make life easier for the person installing the kiln. These are worthy goals but they come at the cost of kiln quality. It's a trade off we're not willing to make. We build our kilns with full stainless jackets from top to bottom. Full stainless jackets mean absolutely solid, life extending construction. There are no leaks, no shifting and no weakness. Insist on Full Stainless Jackets for true build quality.
Controller Options:
Rampmaster III - 12 Key Controller
The Rampmaster 3 is built from Bartlett Instruments V6-CF platform and is designed primarily for glass work but works well for other applications including heat treating. The Rampmaster 3 features dedicated buttons and readout and is offered to those who don't want a touchscreen. As with all of our controls the Rampmaster 3 is paired with a low-error Special Limits thermocouple for very precise temperature sensing. Match it up with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system and treat yourself to some serious performance with an old-school vibe.
Icon - Touchscreen Controller
The Icon is built around Bartlett's Spark platform and brings touchscreen design to the market at a lower price point. The Icon / Spark was rigorously field-tested by Bartlett, Evenheat and others over the latter course of 2023. Programming was found to be clean and simple. User interaction with the display was deemed excellent. As expected the Icon paired well with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system and performed beautifully. As with all Evenheat control designs, the Icon adds to an existing control platform with improvements like low-error, Special Limits thermocouples for precise temperature sensing and non-metallic faceplates for excellent Wi-Fi reception for the Bartlett mobile App. The Icon brings outstanding performance and value to the marketplace.
Icon+ - Touchscreen Controller
The Icon+ starts with Bartlett's well-regarded Genesis platform and adds low-error, Special Limits thermocouples for incredible precision. We also fit the Icon+ with a non-metallic faceplate for exceptional Wi-Fi reception for the Bartlett mobile App. These added features take the Icon+/Genesis to a performance level found nowhere else. Programming and use is easy and straight-forward. Performance is legendary and shines even brighter when paired with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system. The Icon+ represents the ultimate combination of Bartlett control prowess and Evenheat design to offer the highest performing Genesis based control available.

Evenheat’s HF 1413 is a great way to introduce cone 10 capabilities to your home studio. This kiln has been designed with the maker of small works in mind, and can hold a few rows’ worth of smaller forms, like mugs or bowls. This kiln model features thick 3” brick construction encased in sturdy stainless steel, and requires a 240-volt outlet. Users love the kiln’s side handles, which makes moving the HF 1413 quite easy, and the lid’s wide handle makes opening your kiln a breeze. The lid can be propped in two different positions to vent your kiln as needed. The HF 1413’s peepholes feature swing-away covers, so you don’t have to worry about separate spy plugs for your kiln. While the HF 1413 can reach cone 10, please note that this model is only available in 240-volt single-phase. The HF 1413 offers three options for your kiln controller -- the Icon, the Rampmaster III, the Icon+, or the TAP II touchscreen controller. You may also opt to order your RM II 1210 with the suggested furniture kit, which includes one 12” full shelf; one 12” half-shelf; four each of 1”, 2”, 3”, and 4” kiln posts; and 1 lb. of kiln wash.
