Cone 2-6
Mid-range sculpture clay that fires to a sand color at cone 6 & off white at cone 2. This is Standard's most heavily-grogged claybody. Image shows 420 fired to cone 2 oxidation (left) and cone 6 oxidation (right).
Shrinkage: 7% at C/2, 8% at C/6.
Absorption: 8% at C/2, 1.5% at C/6.
Note: This clay was reformulated in November of 2022.
