Georgie's Indigo Interactive Pigment Wash should be diluted to a 50:50 ratio and is best applied to cone 04 bisque. Brush the wash over the entire surface and allow it to dry. Use a damp sponge to gently wipe back the wash, leaving your desired amount on the surface and in any crevices. You can choose to glaze specific areas or apply an all-over glazing technique. These pigments can be fired at temperatures ranging from cone 06 up to cone 10!

As with all ceramic materials, do not eat, drink or smoke while working with clays or glazes.

This product is certified nontoxic when used as directed, specifically by brushing. Spraying the product is not recommended. It contains cobalt, a chemical that the State of California recognizes as a potential carcinogen. Although laboratory testing has determined this product to be nontoxic, it has been labeled with a cautionary warning. When working with these pigments, it is advisable to wear protective gloves and clothing. Additionally, this product is not recommended for use in K-6 school programs.
