Studio Pro 17
The Studio Pro 17 is our largest, and best selling personal design. Artists prefer its large 17" x 17" chamber while still operating on 120V. The Studio Pro 17 is constructed of both fiber and firebrick. A fiber lid is used to help speed up the process and gain temperature with ease. The firebrick walls and floor offer excellent heat-storage and annealing properties. This thoughtful design combines the best of both worlds to create the finest personal sized glass kiln available. Default production for Studio Pro 17 is 120V, Single Phase.

Features:
Front Access
The defining feature of the Studio Pro design is its front access. Simply lift the chamber to expose the entire floor. It's wall-free and wide open. Front access is perfect for glass placement: simply build directly on your shelf and close the chamber. Front access is also great when using tools that require a horizontal approach such as raking, roll ups and manipulation techniques.

Top Access
The Studio Pro 17 features top access as part of the dual access design. Top access is excellent for the loading of shelves and forms as it allows for easy and precise placement. Top access is also preferred for many vertical-approach manipulation techniques such as embossing. Top access also makes venting possible with the two position vent.

2 Position Lid Vent
The Studio Pro 41 is equipped with a 2 position lid vent. The lower vent position props the lid by about an inch. Perfect for venting off adhesives and other low temperature binding materials. The upper vent position props the lid by about 4 inches. Perfect for speeding up the cooling process.

Perfect Controller Location
Our TAP and Icon+ controls are positioned front-and-center at body level. Just walk up and enjoy. Absolutely perfect. Control location was the top priority for the Studio Pro design and we're pleased to offer it.

Swing View Equipped
Studio Pro 17 temperature controls are fitted to our Swing View Adjustable Enclosure. The swing view is a pivoting, swing-up enclosure that allows you to rotate the control to a comfortable viewing and programming angle. Once you're done, lay it back down to see it from across your studio. It's that simple. The swing view pairs well with touchscreen controls like the TAP II, Icon+ and Icon as viewing angle can be perfectly aligned. You'll love it..

Fiber & Firebrick Design
The Studio Pro 17 is constructed of both fiber and firebrick. Fiber is used in the lid to speed up the firing process to avoid devitrification and provide for a lighter weight lid. Firebrick is used in both the walls and floor and provides excellent heat-storage properties which helps smooth out temperature swings and is awesome for annealing. By its nature, firebrick cleans up the temperature fluctuations that "all-fiber" kilns experience. You want a portion of firebrick in your glass kiln and the Studio Pro 17 delivers.

Elemented Fiber Lid
Evenheat's fiber lid construction offers a faster heat-up than traditional 120V firebrick designs, about 50% faster. This faster firing potential reduces or completely eliminates devitrification. The lid of the Studio Pro 17 is constructed of a special fiber material that provides excellent thermal properties along with light weight. This design allows the heating elements to be positioned on the surface for maximum heat transfer and firing efficiency. We also position these lid heating elements left to right to prevent them from sagging or bunching-up with repeated opening and closing. It's a small but important detail that guarantees performance and satisfaction over the life of the kiln.

Power Interrupt Switch Equipped
The Studio Pro 17 is standard equipped with a power interrupt switch which removes electrical power from all heating elements if either the lid or chamber is opened. This is important for those who may access the kiln during firing such as glass manipulation and roll-ups.

Relay Access Port
The Studio Pro 17 incorporates our Relay Access Port for simple, no-panel-off relay replacement. Simply remove the access plate to gain access to the mechanical relay. There's no need to remove the control panel and dig into the internal wiring. It's absolutely simple and effective and all it takes is a screwdriver! It's a given that mechanical relays will fail at some point. This relay access port really comes in handy when they do.

Floor Stand included
The Studio Pro 17 is supplied with a 16" stand for optional floor placement if desired.

To assist you in replacing worn items we have included a maintenance parts tag on the Studio Pro 41 indicating the proper Evenheat part numbers for anticipated maintenance items. Wish we had this decades ago.



Contorller Options:
Rampmaster 3 - 12 Key Controller
The Rampmaster 3 is built from Bartlett Instruments V6-CF platform and is designed primarily for glass work but works well for other applications including heat treating. The Rampmaster 3 features dedicated buttons and readout and is offered to those who don't want a touchscreen. As with all of our controls the Rampmaster 3 is paired with a low-error Special Limits thermocouple for very precise temperature sensing. Match it up with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system and treat yourself to some serious performance with an old-school vibe.

Icon Touchscreen Controller
The Icon is built around Bartlett's new Spark platform and brings touchscreen design to the market at a lower price point. The Icon / Spark was rigorously field-tested by Bartlett, Evenheat and others over the latter course of 2023. Programming was found to be clean and simple. User interaction with the display was deemed excellent. As expected our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system performed beautifully. As with all Evenheat control designs, the Icon adds to an existing control platform with improvements like low-error Special Limits thermocouples for precise temperature sensing and non-metallic faceplates for excellent Wi-Fi reception for the Bartlett mobile App.

The Icon+ starts with Bartlett's well-regarded Genesis platform and adds low-error Special Limits thermocouples for incredible precision. We also fit the Icon+ with a non-metallic faceplate for exceptional Wi-Fi reception for the Bartlett mobile App. These added features take the Icon+/Genesis to a performance level found nowhere else. Programming and use is easy and straight-foward. Performance is legendary and shines even brighter when paired with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system. Tap II
The TAP II with its large screen, well laid out format and incredible mobile App is our most popular temperature controller. Firing schedule creation and use are simply simple. The science behind the screen delivers accurate and consistent results especially when matched with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system. The TAP II is fitted with low-error Special Limits thermocouples for extremely accurate temperature control as well as our non-metallic faceplates offering excellent Wi-Fi reception.
