The GTS 41 is our largest top-loading glass kiln and is built with a fiber lid that offers firing speed and light weight. The chamber is built entirely of firebrick which acts to smooth the heating process and provide excellent annealing. The best of both worlds combined to deliver the performance you expect. The large firing chamber measures 41" x 25-1/4" and fits either our full, seamless shelf or half shelf system. It offers an enormous amount of firing area and fits well into studio and production settings alike. The GTS 41 departs from typical kiln design with its sharp and clean lines that fit your studio and your style. The GTS 41 is designed for glass fusing, slumping, draping, casting and any other glass work up to 1800°F. Standard equipped with our Quiet Drive Solid State Relays that pairs up well with either the TAP II or Icon+ controls delivering the performance Evenheat is known for. The GTS 41 is big, beautiful and designed with size and volume in mind.
Features:
Fiber Lid
The lid of the GTS 41 is constructed of a fiber material that provides excellent thermal properties along with light weight. This design allows the heating elements to be positioned on the surface for maximum heat transfer and firing efficiency. The fiber chosen for the lid is an extremely low-shot material. The surface is then covered with a no-shot fiber sheet. These two materials combine to create a lighter weight lid while severely limiting debris from the lid falling onto the glass. Very nice.
Top Load
The GTS 41 is a top loading design and offers a chamber 41" wide x 25.25" long x 13.5" deep. The rim of the chamber is 32" off the floor which is at waist height or lower making it very easy to load and position your glass.
Fiber and Firebrick Design
The GTS 41 is constructed of both fiber and firebrick. The entire lid of the GTS 41 is constructed of fiber to reduce the overall weight of the lid as well as severely limiting lid debris. The walls and floor are made of firebrick which is desired in a glass kiln as it stores heat in the beginning of the firing which acts to smooth out temperature swings. It then releases heat slowly at the completion of the firing resulting in very effective annealing. It's just beautiful. The GTS 41, like the related Studio Pro models, artfully combines two great materials to produce one of the best glass kiln designs out there
Swing View Equipped
GTS 41 temperature controls are fitted to our Swing View Adjustable Enclosure. The swing view is a pivoting, swing-up enclosure that allows you to rotate the control to a comfortable viewing and programming angle. Once you're done, lay it back down to see it from across your studio. It's that simple. The swing view pairs well with touchscreen controls like the TAP II, Icon+ and Icon as viewing angle can be perfectly aligned. You'll love it.
Quiet Drive Solid State Relays
GTS 41 models are standard equipped with our Quiet Drive Solid State Relays. Our Quiet Drive Solid State Relay System offers tight temperature control, high reliability and increased heating element life. The Quiet Drive is arguably the best designed and best performing solid state system on the market.
2 Position Lid Vent
The GTS 41 is equipped with a 2 position lid vent. The lower vent position props the lid by about an inch. Perfect for venting off adhesives and other low temperature binding materials. The upper vent position props the lid by about 4 inches. Perfect for speeding up the cooling process.
Relay Access Port
The GTS 41 incorporates our Relay Access Port for simple, no-panel-off relay replacement. Simply remove the access plate to gain access to the mechanical relays. There's no need to remove the control panel and dig into the internal wiring. It's absolutely simple and effective and all it takes is a screwdriver! It's a given that mechanical relays will fail at some point. This relay access port really comes in handy when they do.
Power Interrupt Switch
The GTS 41 is standard equipped with a power interrupt switch which removes electrical power from all heating elements if the lid is opened. This is important for those who may access the kiln during firing such as glass manipulation.

To assist you in replacing worn items we have included a maintenance parts tag on the GTS 2541 indicating the proper Evenheat part numbers for anticipated maintenance items.
Controller Options:
Rampmaster III - 12 Key Controller
The Rampmaster 3 is built from Bartlett Instruments V6-CF platform and is designed primarily for glass work but works well for other applications including heat treating. The Rampmaster 3 features dedicated buttons and readout and is offered to those who don't want a touchscreen. As with all of our controls the Rampmaster 3 is paired with a low-error Special Limits thermocouple for very precise temperature sensing. Match it up with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system and treat yourself to some serious performance with an old-school vibe.
Icon - Touchscreen Controller
The Icon is built around Bartlett's Spark platform and brings touchscreen design to the market at a lower price point. The Icon / Spark was rigorously field-tested by Bartlett, Evenheat and others over the latter course of 2023. Programming was found to be clean and simple. User interaction with the display was deemed excellent. As expected the Icon paired well with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system and performed beautifully. As with all Evenheat control designs, the Icon adds to an existing control platform with improvements like low-error, Special Limits thermocouples for precise temperature sensing and non-metallic faceplates for excellent Wi-Fi reception for the Bartlett mobile App. The Icon brings outstanding performance and value to the marketplace.
Icon+ - Touchscreen Controller
The Icon+ starts with Bartlett's well-regarded Genesis platform and adds low-error, Special Limits thermocouples for incredible precision. We also fit the Icon+ with a non-metallic faceplate for exceptional Wi-Fi reception for the Bartlett mobile App. These added features take the Icon+/Genesis to a performance level found nowhere else. Programming and use is easy and straight-foward. Performance is legendary and shines even brighter when paired with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system. The Icon+ represents the ultimate combination of Bartlett control prowess and Evenheat design to offer the highest performing Genesis based control available.
Tap II - Touchscreen Controller
The TAP II with its large screen, well laid out format and incredible mobile App is our most popular temperature controller. Firing schedule creation and use are simply simple. The science behind the screen delivers accurate and consistent results especially when matched with our Quiet Drive Solid State relay system. The TAP II is fitted with low-error Special Limits thermocouples for extremely accurate temperature control as well as our non-metallic faceplates offering excellent Wi-Fi reception. Rolling Option
The GTS 41 is easily made mobile with our rolling option. The GTS 41 base is equipped to accept our casters. No frame or extra hardware required. Simply attach the casters to the standard base and you're ready to go! Casters are not factory installed. You will install them when you first set up your kiln. It's designed to be easy and it is. They can always be added later as well.
