Carboxy/Methyl Cellulose (C.M.C.) Powder
An organic cellulose gum which functions as a thickener, binder, and suspending agent in glazes.
Usually added to glazes in amounts of less than 0.5%. Add to warm water to dissolve and age before adding to a liquid glaze.

CMC is an organic additive and may grow bactieria and mold over time. Mix in small batches and use within 7-10 days.
