Your home studio just got bigger! Introducing the NEW Studio Pro 17 glass kiln by EvenHeat! Measuring 17" x 17" x 6.5", the Studio Pro 17 is the largest 120V home-studio glass kiln on the market today (and it is also available in 240V). 120V studio kilns can often be underpowered, but this is definitely not the case with the Studio Pro 17. The 3" Superwool lid and surface-mounted heating elements combine to offer exceptionally fast heat-up with fusing temperatures achieved in about one hour! This performance helps to reduce or eliminate devitrification. The Studio Pro 17 features surface-mounted heating elements for maximum heat transfer; a Superwool fiber lid for efficiency and increased firing speed; Dual Access Design for precision glass placement; and is available with your choice of kiln controller.

The Studio Pro 17 is constructed with a combination of fiber and firebrick. The combination realizes the best of both worlds, as the fiber blocks heat for quick heat-up, and the firebrick acts somewhat as a brake to minimize temperature swings, which makes performance smooth and tight. It's an awesome combination, and performs very well! The Studio Pro 17 offers Dual Access -- this allows the artist to enter the chamber through the front for unobstructed and precision glass placement, or through the lid for form setting and vertical approach manipulation. One of the nicest features of this kiln is the fact that you can choose a controller that fits your needs. Select from the basic, 3-ket Set-Pro controller, which includes pre-programmed settings and does indeed still allow for customized programming. For a more advanced kiln controller that can hold a few more programs of a higher complexity, you may be interested in the 12-key Rampmaster 3 controller. Finally, Evenheat has a brand-new controller on the market now that can do it all. The TAP touchscreen controller is essentially a smartphone for your kiln. No more worrying about the limitations that may be presented by button-controlled kilns. Track and record your firings with ease with this new cutting-edge setup.

Options for Customization:
First, select the ideal voltage for your studio space - 120-volt, which plugs into a standard household outlet, or 240-volt, which requires a larger appliance-style outlet. Next, select your choice of kiln controller - the 3-key Set-Pro, the 12-key Rampmaster 3, or the touchscreen TAP controller. Finally, you may opt to order your Studio Pro 15 with an optional furniture kit, which includes one 16” x 16” square shelf, four 0.5” posts, one 3-reed haik brush, and 24 oz. of glass separator.
