Skutt’s GM-1214-3 is a great choice for the busy studio or production glass artist making larger slumped platters or fused tiles. This low, wide 5-cubic-foot kiln has been designed to address all of your glass needs. Featuring Skutt’s specialized GlassMaster controller, which allows the user to run a program based on the desired effect (Fuse, Tack Fuse, or Slump), this fully digital kiln is also easy to program with custom schedules, which are then stored in the kiln’s computer. The GM-1214-3 also features balanced elements, which ensures the most even firing possible. You can fuse on multiple layers, use large drop molds, and anneal sculptural pieces. The GM-1214-3 also comes standard with a lid lifter; 3” thick brick (as opposed to standard 2.5”), which increases your kiln’s firing efficiency; and a metal kiln stand. Your shipment will also include an operating manual, warranty card, and peep plugs. The GM-1214-3 is a great choice for the busy studio or production glass artist.
