Model eQ2327-3 eQuad-Pro Production Kiln with Multi-Program Three-Zoned Genesis Touchscreen control mounted in an easy-open cool-firing piggy-back control panel that is angled for easy viewing of control. Multi-Zone Control for Even Kiln Heating
Even Firing. Makes Loading more flexible. Adjusts for element aging. The kiln control separately measures temperatures in the bottom, middle, and top of the ceramic kiln. It automatically adjusts the heat output of three kiln zones during the entire glaze or bisque firing.
PLATINUM THERMOCOUPLES
The very best thermocouple for constant high fire applications is a Type S platinum thermocouple with an alumina sheath. Type S thermocouples are composed of a positive leg which is 90% platinum and 10% Rhodium, and a negative leg which is 100% platinum. Since they can be used up to 2700°F/(1480°C) they will not drift or degrade in these kilns.
QUAD ELEMENT DESIGN
The combination of 1/2” diameter element coils, the doubled surface area of the Quad element design, and superior heat transfer of L&L’s patented ceramic element holders, make this the best element system in the world today.
Please note: 3-phase kilns must be direct wired and a power cord is not supplied.
Easy-Service Control Panel
The Control panel pulls down easily and remains perpendicular to the element box for very easy access. All wiring is neatly laid out in a professional and industrial way with color coding and numbering for easy repair and troubleshooting. Best of all the double panel design results in cooler panels and longer control and relay life.
Sectional Kiln Construction
The sectional construction of our kilns allows for easy disassembly, transportation, and maintenance. This modular design is particularly advantageous for studios with space constraints or those requiring frequent relocation of equipment.
Protected Thermocouples
Ceramic protection tubes shield the thermocouple tips, preventing oxide dust from contaminating the kiln during firing.
Heavy-Duty Type K Thermocouples
Thick 8-gauge thermocouples last a long time. Special Limit of Error to ANSI MC96.1 specifications is used.

Solid Ceramic Peephole Plugs for L&L Kilns
Solid large non-tapered peepholes allow a wider view into the kiln. The peephole plugs are made from solid ceramic and are not as fragile as hollow-type plugs used on competitors' kilns.

Industrial-grade ceramic terminal blocks make changing elements easy. All contact between elements and wire lugs is over a wide surface of heavily torqued stainless steel washers.

- VENT-SURE DOWNDRAFT KILN VENT SYSTEM
Vent-Sure downdraft vent vents fumes from kiln out of room and away from the kiln. Downdraft venting pulls air down to bottom of kiln. Improves temperature uniformity inside the kiln. Powerful 130 CFM fan motor, typically mounted on wall, allows fumes to be under vacuum in your studio. The strong fan motor helps overcome static pressure in long exhaust lines. The duct may be up to 60 feet in length, and include up to four 90° bends. 120 volts with on/off switch on cord (240 volts available). 8 foot long flexible aluminum duct. Bypass collection box mounted on kiln allows adjustment of venting. Fan motor, mounted away from the kilns, stays cool and no vibration transmitted to the kiln. Multi-Mount Bracket comes with the Vent System - allows you to mount vent motor in various positions.
Rolling Stand for Polygonal Kilns
L&L's rolling kiln stand features heavy gauge galvannealed steel construction with multiple bends for extra strength, locking swivel casters, integrated vent collection box support, and guide posts for the kiln. Each size is fitted to the kiln.
Lift gate service ensures that the delivery truck can lower a pallet or pallets to the ground. When a delivery location does not have a raised loading dock or a forklift on site, a lift gate will be required. This includes all residential deliveries.
