The Eazao Potter X-1 is latest upgraded version of the Eazao Potter model clay 3D printer, offering a more powerful, accurate, and quieter performance with a new user-friendly interface.
The Potter X-1 desktop ceramic 3D printer uses real clay and direct extrusion. It is easy to use, has a perfect first layer, and has all the upgrades our community has requested. Such as a newly optimized structural design for the X-axis and Z-axis drive mechanisms for more stable operation, the X-1 produces a higher level of printing precision. Prepare for an incredible ceramic 3D printing experience that opens the door to a new world of ceramic exploration.
Using Eazao's direct extrusion technology, the clay feeds through a miniature auger from the clay resevoir directly onto the printing surface, thereby reducing air bubbles and producing even pressure for cleaner prints. Because the X-1 does not use a feed tube, you are saved from hours of preparation and maintenance each time you print.
Compatible with most clays, the X-1 has minimal restrictions on clay materials, and because it uses direct extrusion technology, it is more effective at extruding harder clay. If using clays with coarse grogs, there may be added wear on the extruder and some parts may need to be replaced sooner than when used with smooth clay bodies. Besides printing clay, the X-1 can print most viscous fluids such as coffee grounds, pulp, and plasticine.
The motherboard has been upgraded to the MKS Robin Nano V3.1, a 32-bit motherboard with enhanced computing power for smoother printing. The X-axis driver has been upgraded to the TMC2209, a silent driver for quieter printing.
With a fully loaded SD card and a pre-loaded barrel of clay, you can start printing with the Potter X-1 immediately out of the box. For custom models you can use any modeling software that can save files in the .STL or .OBJ file format. The card also comes preloaded with a printer profile to upload into the free slicing programs that can write the .GCODE file that the printer runs on.
