Protect your ceramic creations with Clay Coat, a quartz ceramic sealant that makes unglazed areas completely waterproof and stain resistant.

With its non-toxic, all-natural formula, it creates an invisible layer of protection that is microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe.

Apply to any unglazed, fired clay body to create a completely invisible yet highly effective protective barrier!

How to use:

1) Prep your surface. Begin with biqueware or a fully fired pot. Ensure that the surface is completely dry and free of dust and grease. Clay Coat will not work if the surface is chipping or flaking!

2) Shake your bottle of Clay Coat to ensure the mixture is fully blended.

3) Apply Clay Coat by either spraying, dipping, or brushing one even layer onto the surface until it no longer readily absorbs the sealant. Be sure to wear gloves! If the sealant gets on a glazed area, wipe clean with a paper towel. Applying Clay Coat too thick can result in a yellow discoloration.

4) Let your pot cure! Allow 24 hours before handling.

Store in a cool, dark place.
