The Monkey Stuff Brass Rib (BR1) is a versatile, medium-sized tool designed for various pottery tasks. Crafted from 0.063” thick 260 brass, this rib is not only sturdy and aesthetically pleasing but also comfortable to hold. The BR1 is used during the throwing process to create both straight features and contours in our pots. After trimming, it helps to clean up and burnish the surfaces.
As the BR1 is made of brass, it will develop a beautiful patina over time; however, it can easily be maintained to look like new with a bit of brass polish and wax.
