The Tucker's ConeArt Kiln model BX2318D is rapidly becoming a favorite for home studios and schools. It is very close in dimension to ConeArt's most popular kiln, the BX2327, except it is just 18" deep, which makes it a breeze to load and unload. Like all ConeArt kilns, the BX2318D features heavy-duty double-walled construction, which results in approximately 30% less heat loss through the walls than what you will see in single-wall models.

The kiln’s jacket and fittings are all stainless steel, and the heavy-duty Kanthal A-1 elements are designed to fire to cone 10. The BX2318D’s Bartlett 12-key controller will enable you to both store complicated glazing schedules of your own design, or simply fire with the push of a button using one of the pre-set programs. In this, the kiln is great for a wide variety of users, from the beginner to the expert.

Options for Customization:
The BX2318D is available in single-phase 240V or 208V - please select the correct voltage from the drop-down menu. This kiln is also available either with or without a furniture kit - please select your choice from the drop-down menu.

Furniture Kit includes:
Two 21" diameter full shelves
Two 21" diameter half shelves
Three each of 1 3/4" square X 1", 2", 4", 6" and 8" posts
2 kilograms kiln wash
The shelves and posts are made from a high alumina mix and are rated to cone 11
