This is an open claybody specially formulated to withstand the thermal shock of Raku firing. Contains sand. This clay body can fired all the way up to cone 10. Image shows the clay in a cone 06 raku firing (left) and a cone 6 oxidation firing (right).

Shrinkage: 8% at C/04, 13% at C/6
Absorption: 17% at C04, 4.5% at C/6.
