These Stainless Steel Metal Ribs are designed by Peter Callas, perhaps one of the most influential potters of our time. His extensive work in clay has provided him with the experience needed to create the perfect tools for potters and handbuilders!
What makes these ribs unique is that they are created from heavy gauge metal, giving them the strength and rigidity that you might find in a wooden tool, combined with the crisp edge commonly seen in tradition metal ribs. Despite their strength, they do have some flexibility, though they are certainly not flimsy!
The SS102 rib is ideal for most wheel thrown forms, as it has both straight and curved sides.
