The Ceramic Shop is your one stop shop for all your ceramic decal needs. Decals made of a special water slide and heat release paper that transfers images from paper to ceramics or glass. Decals are a fun way to personalize your own work by adding color and depth and can be used in school classrooms for projects that kids will love. We offer decals in a variety of styles including:

Graffito Paper

Graffito Paper is a colored underglaze transfer paper. The paper works like a carbon copy by transfering ceramic underglaze directly onto your pots. Use a pencil to draw your own images or copy photographic drawings. Graffito Paper is an inexpensive alternative to ceramic decals that provide a similar look.

Rice Paper Decals

These are underglaze decals designed to be used on green ware or bisqueware. The are simple to use, inexpensive and available in a wide variety of designs and colors. To use, hold the oxide bearing side of the decal against the pot, stroke with a wet brush to transfer 100% of the oxide from the paper to the pot, peel the paper away. These have a firing range of cone 04-11. We do our best to supply the color in the images but cannot guarantee the color you receive. Decal Paper

Fired On Images decal paper allows you to the freedom to create your own low cost decals at home. Print your own images onto the decal paper through an HP or Cannon laser printer. Decals work on stoneware and porcelain ceramics, glass, and are food safe. Decals are a rich sepia tone color that can be colorized with overglaze and enamels.  

Limited Edition Color Decals

The Ceramic Shop's very own color decals are available in 12 designer patterns. These decals are simple to use and fire to 1450F. Apply over a glossy glaze surface for best results and brightest color potential.

Custom Decals

We offer full service decal printing of your own images. Send us a file of your digital designs or images and we'll print them for you. Custom decals are full color and can be fired on ceramics or glass.
