Double Pointed Stilts are ideal for increasing air flow during your firings, to ensure that all parts of your pot are evenly heated. Simply use these stilts to prop up greenware or bisqued pots inside the kiln. At The Ceramic Shop, we also like to use these stilts to prop up leather hard pieces to ensure even drying of the bottoms of our pots before firings, so they are a great addition to your studio on a few fronts.
These stilts differ from our A-H Series in that they do not have metal points supporting your work; here, the entire stilt is made out of a high-temperature ceramic material. because of this, double pointed stilts should only be used on glaze-free surfaces.
