Potter's Choice glazes are designed to look like custom high fire reduction glazes that work in a midrange oxidation kiln firing. Amaco's Chun Plum is one of the artistic heavy float glazes and needs to be applied thick (three coats) to achieve it's maximum results. This glaze is slightly tranparent when applied thin and yields beautiful bursts of floating rose when applied thick.
