Potter's Choice glazes are designed to look like custom high fire reduction glazes with the convenience of a midrange oxidation firing glaze. Amaco's Umber Float is part of the artistic heavy float glazes and yields beautiful bursts of colors when applied thick. This glaze needs three thick coats of glaze and room near the foot to move. Over a white stoneware this glaze produces warm amber and lavendar colors that appear much richer than in the picture.
