Evenheat KH 418, Set-Pro 3 Key

The KH Series is designed for North American heat treaters who don't have access to 240V. The KH Series takes its form from our well regarded KF and LB models and features a side-element-only design. It's a rugged and solid design that serves the heat treater well.

KH models are capable of reaching temperatures up 2200°F which makes them well suited to heat treat the vast majority of steels common to knife makers and metal workers. The KH's are available in a variety of control choice options as well as the solid state output option (which you want).

The KH 418 is our deepest and most popular KH Series heat treat oven. It's available in both economical and premium control designs.

Heat treating requires the removing of some very hot material from the chamber in order to quench. Everything in the chamber is hot, which includes the door. The doors on the KH's swing out and to the side. This puts the super-heated door well away from you as you concentrate on the work at hand. The side opening door is an excellent design choice and makes all the difference.

The handle/latch on our swing out door is conveniently located at the front of the door, not hidden along the side. This spring loaded, phenolic handle is cool to the touch, is one-handed in design and serves as the door latch as well.
