Cut & Plunge Leaves, 3 pc

These plastic Cut and Plunge plastic stamps are a Ceramic Shop staff favorite!! These tools are so fun because they are not just stamps, they are shape cutters as well!! With these you can create clay cutouts of different shapes and sizes with patterns imprinted on them. Make brooches, buttons, charms and more! Stamped clay cutouts are also great additions to larger ceramic forms. Simply slip and score and viola! Because these tools function as cutters, you can also use them to cut shapes out of your thrown forms. Create elegant, lightweight candle holders in this way.

We recommend using these stamp cutters on moist clay. Simply place plastic cutter evenly against your ware and press until the flat edge on the tool is flush with the surface of the clay. Then carefully depress the plunger, and your shape with its imprinted pattern will be released!! If you have trouble with the clay sticking to the plastic (which sometimes happens after multiple, consecutive uses) just add a small bit of a releasing agent to the plastic (household products such as butter, cooking spray or Murphy’s oil soap will work - just try to avoid bubbles!)

This Cut and Plunge Leaves set includes 3 leaves: 1 each of small, medium and large (all with the same stamp pattern). Leaves measure approximately 1"x 0.6" (small), 1.25" x 0.75" (medium) and 1.75" x 1" (large).
