About this kiln
The 186GFE is as big as a 240 volt kiln but built to run on 120 volts. Now you have the size kiln you need without the extra expense of adding 240 volt when it isn't available.

Glass firing kilns are used for fusing and forming of glass shapes, precious metal clay and heat-treating. 120 volt glass fusing and precious metal clay models are equipped with a lid element for the fusing segment of the glass firing and a body element for the ramping up and down and annealing segments of the firing. A selector switch is on the electrical box to designate either the lid or body element to heat during the firing.

Model comes with tall 18" stand, peephole plug, lid wedge, instruction manual, and warranty card. Two-year warranty.

Options for customization:
First, choose which controller best suits your needs. The Olympic 186GFE comes standard with a Bartlett 3-key controller. With this controller you can fire your kiln with the touch of a button - data is entered by simply scrolling through to set the desired cone fire, or fire in ramp/hold mode. You will be amazed at the flexibility this simple digital controller offers. However, if you are focused on dialing in your glaze programs, or would like to have maximum control and program storage options, you may want to consider adding a 12-key Bartlett controller or the new Genesis touch-screen controller. The 186GFE is also highly customizable and you can choose to add a bead door or viewing window. The 186GFE can also be ordered with a furniture kit.
