Ceramc Fiber Blankets are available in 1" thick and 2" thick varieties, as well as #6, & #8 lb densities.
This 24-inch wide roll is sold in 1 ft, 5 ft, and 12.5 ft increments. So, if you order 1 foot, you will recieve a piece of Inswool that is 1 foot long and 24-inches wide. If you order 5 ft, you will receive a piece that is 5 ft by 24 inches, and so on.
Ceramic Fiber Blankets are a complete product line for applications from 1500°F to 2300°F. These products are produced from a spun ceramic fiber which is needled into lightweight, flexible blankets and contain no inorganic binders. Blankets are durable and have superior tensile strength.
Ceramic Fiber blanket products are easy to install. No special forming is required and plant personnel can be used to install the product. Furnace structures can be made lighter and furnace components can be shop fabricated with blanket linings. Also, there is no curing or dry out time when using ceramic fiber blankets. These linings can be fired to peak operating temperature immediately after installation.
Fiber blankets have excellent chemical stability and are unaffected by most chemicals. The only exceptions are hydrofluoric and phosphoric acid.
These are high purity blankets made from a 50 x 50 blend of Alumina and Silica that has superior tensile strength and handling capabilities. This product can be used in applications up to 2300°F and is available in 6 and 8 pound densities.
