The Tucker’s cone Art Kiln Model BX119D is an excellent choice for firing small items such as dolls. This kiln is especially useful as a test kiln since it fires to cone 10 using a regular 120-volt wall outlet.
It is a double insulated kiln with 2 ½" of premium firebrick plus 1" of block insulation. This 3 ½" thick wall saves approximately 30 % in electricity costs and has a safer, cooler outside jacket.
The cone 10 Kanthal A-1 elements are standard.
The jacket and fittings are stainless steel.
The Bartlett electronic 3Key controller is mounted on an angled easy view control panel.
There isn’t a better-built, more convenient small test kiln on the market today than the Tucker’s Cone Art Model BX119D.
