Mayco Designer Stamps serve to apply glaze and create designs in moist clay. Glaze is lightly applied to the stamp and pressed against your ware. Stamps can be used to create outlines to which additional color can be added or used to apply your chosen colors. As a clay tool, stamps can be pressed into clay to create designs or patterns that can be cut and applied as a raised design effect.
Mayco's products are all around pretty solid and affordable. I like these stamps in particular because they have great detail and pull away from the clay body (at least with stoneware) quite easily and without destroying the image. I also like how flexible they are - and prefer that to mounted stamps - makes them very easy to use!
