When applied thin this semi- matte glaze is a rich golden yellow / tan color. When applied thicker it is a creamy and lighter in color. In reduction this glaze is a beautiful burnt yellow/tan. The surface can have a slight orange peal texture when applied thick.
All of The Ceramic Shop glazes come dry mixed and include instructions for mixing with water. 6lbs dry will make 1 gallon of wet glaze and 25- 30 lbs dry glaze is recommended to yield a 5 gallon bucket of wet glaze. We recommend applying this glaze by dipping or spraying but brushing will also work.
