When applied thick, this glaze is a light grey blue and is darker when applied thin. This glaze can run when applied too thick so allow some room for glazes to move and show the flecks of blue tones. Looks great thinner on work that has textural surfaces. It also interacts with other glazes really well.
All of The Ceramic Shop glazes come dry mixed and include instructions for mixing with water. 6lbs dry will make 1 gallon of wet glaze and 25- 30 lbs dry glaze is recommended to yield a 5 gallon bucket of wet glaze. We recommend applying this glaze by dipping or spraying but brushing will also work.
