This beautiful gloss glaze turns transparent amber and if fired in reduction will be a dark amber.
All of The Ceramic Shop glazes come dry mixed and include instructions for mixing with water. Six pounds of glaze yields one gallon of wet glaze. 25- 30 lbs dry glaze is recommended to yield a 5 gallon bucket of wet glaze. We recommend applying this glaze by dipping or spraying but brushing will also work.
Our Cone 6 glazes have been used in studios and schools for over ten years. All glazes are lead free, non-toxic and conform to ASTDM 4236 standards. Glazes are made per order so please call ahead when picking up at our store.
