When applied thin this glaze can be a soft greenish black and when thick can give a slight oil spill shine. It's a black with some depth to it's surface- which is hard to find in a glaze! Glaze is sold dry by the pound and includes intructions for mixing with water. 6lb dry glaze yields one gallon of wet glaze, 25lbs dry mix will make a five gallon bucket of wet glaze.
