The newest wheel from the Skutt pottery wheel series, the Prodigy features the same heavy duty components found on all Skutt Potter's wheels, but it's built on a welded steel frame instead of the cast aluminum base the other Skutt wheels have. The Prodigy has the unique continuous-duty motor and removable wheel head design like the rest of the Skutt series. This 1/3 horse power motor on the Prodigy wheel can center over 75 lb, and is a quiet motor offering that peaceful studio experience. The wheel head and splash pan are removable for easy clean up and maintenance. This quality wheel is backed by a 2 year warranty.
