Class Saturday Ceramics

This is a beginner/intermediate level ceramics class focusing on wheel throwing and sculpting techniques. Through informative demonstrations and one-on-one instruction, our top notch teachers ensure each student learns to center clay, form bowls, cups, and cylinders, make handles, and trim pots. Instruction on how to make functional work by hand building will also be demonstrated. Proper glaze application and inspiring decorative techniques will also be covered. We like to keep the size of our classes small so instructors can devote their attention to each student and their individual creative goals. Sign up early to reserve your spot!

The cost of the class includes kiln firings, glazes and open studio hours from M-F 9-5 and Sat 10-2. Students will need to purchase a 25lb bag of clay (approx $13) and a tool kit ($9.99)- both available for purchase in our store the first day of class. We suggest bringing an apron and a large container to hold water, although it is not required.
