Rubber latex is a key component of successful mold making. Coat the original in rubber latex and use hydrostone, hydrocal, or regular pottery plaster to make the cast. Rubber latex is sometimes used to help create glazing effects during electric kiln firings and raku firings. Rubber latex is available by the gallon upon request.
