The Ultimax Digital Pyrometer is ideal for the kiln industry. It offers a more accurate reading than an analogue pyrometer; it has one minor, and mainly inconsequential quirk: even though it reads in both F° and C°, it will only display the temperature well beyond cone 10 in C° (maximum screen readout is 1999). Therefore, for your convenience, we include a temperature conversion chart.
The Ultimax Digital Pyrometer is available in two models. Model T-1 allows for one thermocouple while Model T-2 allows for two.
*Note: Ultimax Digital Pyrometers do not include a heavy duty type "K" thermocouple which is required for its use.
It does come with the thermocouple connection wire.
*Important note: the ends of the thermocouple wire are connected together. They must be seperated, (you can do this with simple scissors). Those ends then cgo into the + / - contacts on the back of the thermocouple terminal block.
