Ball Clay, Tenn 1

Ball Clay is a variety of Kaolinite, like china-clay, but has a higher plasticity with less refractories. The high plasticity of ball clay is attributed to the fine partical size and the presences of small amounts of montmorillonite.

Tenn #1 (SPG#1) Is a course grain, fast casting ball clay.
