Have you ever wanted to create a ceramic pot with the imprint of a leaf, but were unable to achieve it because the veins on the leaf would not transfer? Leaf imprints are difficult to accomplish. Even if you are able to gain the effect you are looking for in wet clay, the impression is often diminshed once the piece is fired and glazed.
This rubber leaf mold will make creating realistic leaf impressions on your pottery or other ceramic wares easier. The mold has pronounced veins, which make the impressions in your clay deeper. This creates a better texture that will not be covered by glaze as easily. It can be pressed directly into wet clay pieces or used to make applique.
Large Holly Leaves come in a set of two with one each of the following sizes: 2.75" and 3.5".
