Ever wanted to completely cover a piece in glaze but could not because you did not want it to stick the the kiln shelf?  Well, now you can with the use of stilts.  They are designed to allow you to load a piece of ceramics into your kiln with glaze on the bottom side. The metal points will not stick to the glaze, as long as you have the appropriate amount of glaze on your piece.  All the silts are made here at The Ceramic Shop and are rated to cone 10.  Our sample sets are designed to give you a variety of stilts to try out and fall in love with.
