| Special Offers | | | Have you ever wanted to completely cover a piece in glaze (yes, the bottom, too!) but could not for fear of it sticking to the the kiln shelf? Well, stilts overcome that barrier! Stilts are specifically designed to allow you to load a piece of ceramics into your kiln with glaze on the bottom side. The glazed pot simply rests on top of the metal points on the top side of the stilt in the kiln. The stilt elevates the pot so that it is not in contact with the kiln shelf, and the metal points on the stilt, though in contact with the glazed piece, will not stick to the glaze.
In this section you will find information about F series stilts, which are Roselli stilts that are designed to accommodate lids, deep footed ware and any object with an overhang. They are available in multiple sizes. See which stilts best suit your needs. Now you can finally enjoy glazing whole pieces!
All the silts are made here at The Ceramic Shop and are rated to cone 10. Our stilts are designed to withstand repeated firings and rugged treatment. These stilts are made from high quality materials and are long-lasting. 12 products in this category, displaying products 1 to 12.
