Cone 05. DGs are LEAD FREE and totally opaque. The intense colors are perfect for artists creating art deco pieces including dinnerware, sculpture, table lamps etc. AMACO® Deco Gloss Opaque glazes flow very little during firing which makes them suitable with AMACO® Majolica Gloss Decorating Colors to recreate the Majolica technique. Ideal for use over red 77-M clay when intense true color is desired. Underglazes are not recommended for use under these DG glazes because of their opacity.
